The minister will get back to you to discuss dates that might be available, but *please note when you are contacted that this must be a Sunday, and will be either at 12.15pm or 12.30pm

Necessary GDPR agreements with Bishop Auckland Methodist Church for the Christening to take place:

  • The information provided will be held on this form until the baptism takes place.
  • Information provided will be held in Baptismal register as permanent record: – When baptised. Child’s name; son or daughter. Parents’ Christian and surname(s).  Address. Date of Birth and Minister who baptised.
  • We use a photograph of your child if you send us one on a PowerPoint during the baptismal service and on a limited number of printed sheets.  The PowerPoint and any record of the child’s photo sent by email is deleted following the baptism and any service sheets left in the church after the service will be shredded that day.

Optional GDPR Consent agreement for us to hold information after the baptism for three years (Please mark ‘YES’ to opt in):

We can hold your information for three years to enable a birthday card and invitations to relevant church events eg All age Christmas Crib service to be sent out: Child’s name. Address. Parent’s names. Email address. Date of Birth.

Consent for this optional clause can be withdrawn at any time – please contact the minister on 01388 603142       
or minister@bishopmethodist.org.uk if you wish to do so
