Stories of life, of Spring, of growing & flowering #1

A story from Rev John

I have been looking after the church garden more during lock down and have discovered and photographed what I previously would have walked by without giving it a thought. Earth day this year has made me realise the beauty on my doorstep, and how good it is for my mental health to take time, stop and appreciate.

I may have preached for years about the environment and included plants and flowers in my prayers, but now (about time!!) I actually see, believe, and thank God for beautiful new life when the T.V. and news seem to contain just stories of suffering and death.

  1. Good morning Friends. I just wanted to say that this current lockdown has made me realise a few things,
In the house I have become much better at crosswords & discovered the brand new skill of diamond painting. Also Dad, Mum and I have found a lot of lovely little walks that we can do from home.
Most importantly though when I first heard about the lockdown my first reaction was, “I can’t do that!”. I know now though that everybody can do things if they try and that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Therefore we WILL all get through these difficult times. God bless, Anna. xx
